Welcome to Journ. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Journ website and services. By using Journ, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who can use Journ

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use Journ. By using the service you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to list any items you offer.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Founding-member programme

Submitting a founding-member application expresses your interest in joining Journ early. It does not guarantee acceptance, membership, or any specific benefit. We will contact applicants as we open access.

4. Listings & your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload (photos, videos, descriptions). By posting it, you grant Journ a non-exclusive licence to host and display that content for the purpose of operating the service. You are responsible for ensuring your listings are accurate and lawful, and that you have the right to sell or trade the items.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Journ to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• post misleading, harmful, or offensive content;
• list items you do not have the right to sell or trade;
• attempt to disrupt, abuse, or gain unauthorised access to the service.

6. Payments & transactions

Payment processing is not yet live on Journ. Until it is, any sale or checkout flow shown on the site is for demonstration only and does not charge a card or move money. We will update these Terms before enabling real transactions.

7. Disclaimers

Journ is provided "as is" while we build it. We do our best to keep it reliable and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Journ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the member state in which Journ is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence still apply.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Journ after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
